Crossref Logo

Crossref is a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration agency for scholarly and professional publications, committed to making scholarly publishing content easy to find, cite, link and assess. Crossref has a database of more than 80 million intellectual contributions including journals, books and other types of content.

PubMed logo

PubMed comprises more than 27 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of biomedicine and health, covering portions of the life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences and bioengineering. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant website links and to other National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) molecular biology resources.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, including scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Scopus contains more than 60 million journal articles, 130,000 books, 7.2 million conference papers and 27 million patents, delivering a comprehensive overview of scholarly research output in science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities.

Web of Science contains more than a billion cited references and counting, including books, journal articles, patents, websites, conference proceedings and Open Access materials dating back to 1900. Web of Science is a painstakingly selected, actively curated database of the journals that researchers themselves have judged to be the most important and useful in their fields.

Publication citations from sources including EndNote, Google Scholar, HeinOnline, Mendeley, RefWorks and Zotero can also be imported into Activity Insight via BibTeX files, ensuring minimal data entry for faculty.
